Welcome to the Official Idle No More Website

In support of Idle No More and to assist the INM Founders in spreading the focus of Idle No More, I donated the two Idle No More domains and designed this website/blog; which I am bringing online today, December 4th, 2012.
I attended the first Alberta Idle No More Teach-in in Louis Bull, AB on December 2, 2012. An event organized by Tanya Kappo and Janice Makokis with speakers, Co-founder Sylvia McAdam and Dr. Pam Palmater. At this event they encouraged us to use social media as a tool to spread the word and help bring awareness to the bills. Therefore, the hashtag #idlenomore was born.
I was inspired by what Sylvia, Tanya, Janice, and Pam discussed regarding all the Bills and how the Canadian Parliament is trying to force them through the senate at an alarmingly history making rate. Bills that directly infringe on Treaty Rights between the British Nation and the Nations of Turtle Island, endanger the protection of water, land, and air ~ the ecosystem, as a whole.
Idle No More calls on all people to join in a revolution which honors and fulfills Indigenous sovereignty which protects the land and water. Colonization continues through attacks to Indigenous rights and damage to the land and water. We must repair these violations, live the spirit and intent of the treaty relationship, work towards justice in action, and protect Mother Earth.
Therefore, this is the result of the creation of the website and let's see where this journey takes us...a direction the Creator will guide.
