#IDLENOMORE
You know you are doing something in the world when it's four (4) days before Christmas and people are more excited about attending a Day of Solidarity and Unity than track Santa Claus on Google Earth...instead, you find yourself looking at your Twitter account to see who and what is being tweeted #idlenomore. Then you go search your facebook & see what new and interesting thing or post someone wrote that inspired them to "Reach of the Stars" because as Original Peoples of these Lands, we can still show the world be are above the hate, genocide, the anger, the racism, and still see you as a HUMAN BEING...we are of the Creator and of our Mothers...therefore, we come from and belong to her ~ not her to us...this is all our connection...we all have a heartbeat, let's show the world, let's show Harper...we ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS of turtle Island and across the seas that we can BEAT AS ONE.

ONE HEARTBEAT
Idle NO More
has called to drummers and singers from across Turtle Island
to join us
on December 21st at NOON (CST)
for a Global Synchronized Spiritual Awakening.
The heartbeat of the drum, the heartbeat of Mother Earth, is the heartbeat of the people.
Drums are the oldest living instruments on earth, and their vibration helps us tune into the natural frequency of the earth, connecting us to all that is through a shared heartbeat.
The drum combines animal and plant life to make an instrument that rings not only through the air, but across time. All the elements of Nature are used in the creation of the drum, representing the circle of life in all its aspects.
Our songs hold the stories of our past and the visions for our future.
